Support that adapts as needs change
Parkinson’s can affect movement, balance, speech and confidence in different ways and at different times.

Support shaped around changing abilities
A diagnosis never tells the whole story. We take time to understand the person’s history, abilities, routines, preferences, communication and the support already around them.
Where appropriate, care is coordinated with family, GPs, district nurses and other community professionals.
- Mobility and personal care
- Medication and meals
- Everyday routines
- Appointments and professional guidance
Safe, suitable and clearly understood
Nettlestead is a residential care home and does not provide full nursing care. A detailed assessment lets us decide together whether the home can safely provide the right level of support.
Listen
We begin with the resident and the people who know them well.
Assess
We review care, medication, mobility, communication and professional guidance.
Be honest
If needs fall outside our service, we will explain that clearly rather than over-promise.
Discuss care in confidence
An initial conversation is free and does not commit you to anything.
